Work Load

Well, things are crazy at work, with alot of drivers quiting, getting fired and off sick. Brother. Too much for me because I have to train new drivers and I'm now working on the 3rd class in 3 months begining Monday. If I can keep 3 from each class that would have been 9 drivers, but 2 new guys got the ax for hitting things and one guy just couldn't do it. Anyway this work load is taking my life focus away. I actually forgot my Grand Kids BD's last week. Damn. I don't like that. I must get back to my art and writing. Soon!

Backyard Makeover

This has been going on for a few years. I want it finished before Jason and family come in July and also before my Brother and his partner come this summer. I want a nice quiet area so I can relax and read or write after work. We did get the pond and fountain working better and actually have fish (koi) swimming around. I like it so far, but I want more.

I am learning how to draw trees again

I found a Blog/Web Site that has instructions on how to draw trees. I use to be able to draw them OK then I didn't do it for so long I kind of forgot. I've always been able to draw them without full trunks. But now I can again and leaves too.
I bought a wax resist crayon and a Masquepen to mask words in books for altered text. Fun stuff.
I also met a lady in the Turlock Borders Book Store that wrote a book and was there today signing it. Peggy Howard. She self published it and she lives in Turlock.Cool.

I Have a New Friend

Since this is my secret writing place, I can write about my new friend, Glenn. He is my Drive Cam Analyist and a great guy. He writes and sings music and he sent me a song he is working on to put on a CD. It is called Gypsy Spell. It is very good. It is a love song. He does all of the music and back ground vocals alone. WOW! I never knew stuff like that existed.
I think I will send him some writing for lyrics. Cool. I hope to take a trip to Elk Horn Iowa someday to our Corporate office and possibly meet Glenn. How fun!!
